I am a follower of Yeshua/Jesus, living in Europe. I can't begin to imagine the horror of what you are going through as a nation and the mayhem and suffering that everyone there is enduring because of the violent ideology which rules Palestine. The confusion, division and deception around the situation are touching every country where this ideology has won ground. All I can say is that you are daily on the hearts of those who love the One called the Bread of Life, Who was (probably) conceived at Hanukkah, born in Bethlehem and rose at First Fruits. We love you, and it doesn't matter whether Modern Israel was formed by secular Zionists or not. God's hand was still in it, history proves it, and an understanding of the Jubilees reveals it. We pray for you and for the Kingdom of God to come. We sing 'hallelujah', because whatever happens, eventually, His will WILL be done.

Thank you, Kate. I am a Canadian who grew up in Israel (and my parents, sister and brother are in Israel). I was raised to love peace and hate war--and indeed the need to fight war now is tragic, stressful and heartbreaking. I am a secular Jew, but I believe in God and love the Bible. I feel that Christianity has a lot to teach us and can be an inspiration for peace. Most people want to live peacefully, and hopefully the love of peace will win over the destructive ideology that has subjugated people in Gaza and that has forced Israel into war. Merry Christmas!

God bless you.

'Christians' ( I don't like the word because these days, hardly anyone understands what it really means) owe more than we can imagine to the Jews, and always will. I completely agree - most people do want peace - it's politicians and their string-pullers who try to divide us. But everything that happens has been foretold, and has to be, before the Reign of Peace begins. We keep looking up, and our Hope will not fail.

Thanks, Kate. Yes, Christianity and Judaism share a rich and meaningful source. I hope that the desire and need of most people for peace will prevail.
