Old wild horses: think freely and ask questions

The name of this blog, oldwildhorses, is inspired by Julius Ruechel’s essay about resisting COVID conformity in which he describes wild horses who refuse to be tamed as a metaphor for acting on principle <https://www.juliusruechel.com/2021/07/the-emperor-has-no-clothes-finding.html>.

I am not a wild horse because I enjoy working pragmatically.  However, there is one principle that should not be tamed or compromised: the right to ask questions and to think peacefully and freely in a manner that may differ in some respects from widely accepted narratives.
